Job summary

FullSpeed Automotive is seeking an Assistant Manager to support store leadership and oversee day-to-day operations. This hands-on role blends time in the service bay, front counter, and back office to deliver fast, friendly, high-quality automotive service in a safe, clean location.

You will coach technicians and service advisors, schedule coverage, onboard new team members, greet customers, explain services, and promote additional offerings while upholding safety, procedures, and brand

Qualifications

• 1+ years in retail, automotive service, or customer-facing leadership.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for team leadership.
• Comfortable in fast-paced, hands-on environment including service bay.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills; proficient with POS and inventory systems.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexible availability including weekends and some holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and motivate technicians and service advisors to deliver high-quality service.
• Assist with scheduling and onboarding of team members.
• Greet customers, explain services, and promote additional offerings.
• Manage daily store operations, including opening/closing and cash handling.
• Monitor inventory and maintain shop cleanliness and safety.
• Track sales, productivity, and KPIs to meet store goals.
