Job summary

FullSpeed Automotive is seeking an Assistant Manager to support store leadership across service bay, front counter, and back office. The role blends hands-on work with supervision to ensure fast, high-quality automotive service in a safe, clean, and well-run location.

You will coach technicians and service advisors, assist with scheduling, onboarding, and help build a positive, customer-focused team that delivers speed, quality, and trust.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a retail, automotive service, or customer-facing leadership role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment that includes time in the service bay.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills; comfortable using point-of-sale and inventory systems.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily store operations, stepping in to run the location in the manager's absence.
• Coach, train, and motivate technicians and service advisors to deliver high-quality service.
• Assist with scheduling to ensure proper coverage during peak hours and busy seasons.
• Onboard and train new team members on service procedures, POS systems, and customer service standards.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment reflecting the brand values.
• Greet customers, explain services, and promote additional services per manufacturer guidelines.
• Support inventory management, shop cleanliness, safety, and policy compliance.
• Track daily sales, productivity, and KPIs to keep the team focused on goals.
