Norman Regional Health System seeks a Certified Hand Therapist to provide specialized hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder rehabilitation in outpatient care. You will evaluate patients, develop recovery plans, fabricate orthoses, and supervise staff.

The role emphasizes collaboration with hand surgeons, therapists, and other professionals, with a focus on evidence-based, patient-centered care. A valid PT/OT license and CHT credential are preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required.
• DPT or OTD preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program.
• 3+ years of upper-extremity rehab and outpatient therapy experience.
• Current state PT or OT license.
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.

Responsabilidades

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments and establish plan of care.
• Provide therapeutic interventions appropriate to age and disability.
• Document delivery of Occupational Therapy services.
• Directs and supervises activities of OT Assistants, students and support personnel.
• Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust custom orthoses and splints for hand and upper-extremity conditions.
• Educate patients on orthosis wear, care, and precautions.
• Treat patients with orthopedic, traumatic, burn, tendon, nerve, and postoperative conditions.
• Provide scar management, edema control, wound care, and return-to-work rehabilitation as appropriate.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons, orthopedic physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and case discussions.
