Job summary

Norman Regional Health System seeks a Certified Hand Therapist to deliver specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder in an outpatient setting. You will evaluate patients, develop individualized plans, and supervise OT staff and assistants.

Responsibilities include orthotic fabrication, post-surgical rehab, and collaboration with hand surgeons and therapists. Requires CHT, active PT/OT license, and 3+ years of upper-extremity rehab experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; DPT/OTD preferred.
• CHT credential and state PT or OT license required.
• 3+ years of upper-extremity rehab experience in outpatient settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments; establish plan of care.
• Provide therapeutic interventions appropriate to patient age and condition.
• Document delivery of Occupational Therapy services.
• Directs and supervises OT Assistants, students and support staff.
• Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust custom orthoses and splints.
• Educate patients on orthosis wear, care, and precautions.
• Treat orthopedic, traumatic, burn, tendon, nerve, and postoperative cases.
• Collaborate with surgeons and other health professionals; participate in care planning.
