Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist to provide specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder in an outpatient setting. You will evaluate patients, develop recovery plans, and provide custom splinting as part of comprehensive care.

The role requires 3+ years of upper-extremity rehab experience, a current PT or OT license, and the CHT credential, with CPR/BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments; establish plan of care.
• Provide therapeutic interventions for hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder.
• Document delivery of occupational therapy services.
• Directs and supervises OT Assistants, students, and support staff.
• Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust custom orthoses and splints; educate on wear and care.
• Treat orthopedic, traumatic, burn, tendon, nerve, and postoperative cases; manage wounds and edema.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons, orthopedic physicians, therapists; participate in care planning.
