Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist to provide specialized rehabilitation of the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder in an outpatient setting. You will evaluate patients, create recovery plans, and supervise OT staff.

Responsibilities include orthotic fabrication, education on orthosis use, and post-surgical rehab with a focus on functional return to work. Licensure as PT or OT is required, with CHT credential preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• DPT or OTD preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments and plan of care.
• Provide therapeutic interventions appropriate to age and disability.
• Document delivery of Occupational Therapy services.
• Directs and supervises OT assistants, students and support staff.
• Design and fabricate hand orthoses; educate on wear and care.
• Manage post-surgical and injury rehabilitation and return-to-work rehab.
