Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist to deliver specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. You will evaluate patients, design custom splints, and develop recovery plans in collaboration with hand surgeons and therapists.

Responsibilities include supervising assistants, maintaining accurate documentation, and educating patients on orthosis wear. Requires a Bachelor's degree, CHT, and state OT/PT license with 3+ years in upper-extremity

Qualifications

• 3+ years of upper-extremity rehabilitation experience.
• Current state PT or OT license.
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patient condition and establish plan of care.
• Provide therapeutic interventions appropriate to age and disability of the patient.
• Document delivery of Occupational Therapy services.
• Directs and supervises activities of Occupational Therapy Assistants, students and support personnel.
• Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust custom orthoses and splints for hand and upper-extremity conditions.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons, orthopedic physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
