Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to deliver comprehensive hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder rehabilitation in an outpatient setting at our Oklahoma clinic.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, creating recovery plans, supervising OT staff and students, fabricating custom orthoses, and coordinating care with hand surgeons and other clinicians. Licensure and CPR/BLS are required, with OT/PT credentials current.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

Aufgaben

• Evaluate patient condition and establish plan of care.
• Provide therapeutic interventions appropriate to age and disability.
• Document delivery of Occupational Therapy services.
• Directs and supervises activities of OT assistants and students.
• Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust custom orthoses and splints.
• Educate patients on orthosis wear, care, and precautions.
• Treat orthopedic, traumatic, burn, tendon, nerve, and postoperative cases.
• Provide scar management, edema control, wound care, and return-to-work rehab.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons, physicians, and other health professionals.
