Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to join our outpatient rehabilitation team in Oklahoma. The role focuses on evaluation, custom splinting, and developing individualized recovery plans for hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder issues.

You will supervise OTAs and students, fabricate orthoses, manage post-surgical rehab, and collaborate with hand surgeons and other clinicians. Requires 3+ years in upper-extremity rehab; state license; CHT credential; CPR/BLS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• DPT or DOT preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program.
• 3+ years in upper-extremity rehab/outpatient therapy.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and establish care plans.
• Provide therapeutic interventions by patient age and condition.
• Document OT/PT services accurately.
• Direct supervision of OTAs, students, and support staff.
• Design, fabricate, fit, and educate on custom orthoses.
• Post-surgical and injury rehab including scar management.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons and other clinicians.
