Job summary

Norman Regional Health System in Oklahoma is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to deliver specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder. You will evaluate patients, create custom splints, and develop recovery plans.

The role includes supervising OT assistants and students, fabricating orthoses, treating post-surgical and injury cases, and collaborating with hand surgeons and other therapists to support interdisciplinary care.

Qualifications

• State licensure as PT or OT is required.
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential.
• CPR/BLS certification current.
• 3+ years of upper-extremity rehab experience.
• Experience in outpatient therapy settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments of hand/upper-extremity conditions and develop plan of care.
• Provide custom orthotics fabrication and patient education.
• Document therapy services and patient progress.
• Supervise OT assistants, students and support personnel.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons, orthopedic physicians and other clinicians.
