Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking an Assistant Manager to help oversee gym operations and ensure an exceptional Judgement Free member experience while supporting a financially successful club. Full-time: 40 hours per week, with potential evenings, weekends and holidays.

Lead recruitment, training and supervision of staff; manage front desk activities, member service, cleanliness and supplies within budget; and track weekly, monthly and annual performance.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Previous management experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite).

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed individual sales goals and contribute to club targets.
• Recruit, hire, train and develop a high performing staff.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests and ensure service guidelines.
• Provide backup to Club Manager and supervise staff.
• Oversee front desk activities including check-ins and tours.
• Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the facility.
• Assist with ordering supplies within budget and track statistics and reports.
