Planet Fitness is seeking an Assistant Manager to help oversee gym operations and deliver a first-rate, judgement-free member experience while supporting the club’s financial success.

The full-time role requires a 40-hour schedule with potential for extended hours, travel, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed to meet business demands. You will lead staff, manage front desk duties, and ensure excellent service daily.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Passion for helping others.
• Commitment to excellent service.
• Previous management experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed individual sales goals, contribute to club monthly and yearly goals.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, training and developing a high performing staff.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere for all members and guests and ensure staff follow customer service guidelines.
• Provide backup support to Club Manager and supervise staff scheduling.
• Oversee front desk activities: answer phones, check members in, sign-ups, tours.
• Facilitate member requests, issues and questions, and assist with cleanliness and maintenance.
