Planet Fitness is seeking an Assistant Manager to help oversee gym operations and ensure an exceptional Judgement Free member experience, while supporting a financially successful club. The full-time role requires a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet business needs.

Responsibilities include driving sales, recruiting and developing staff, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring high levels of customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Passion for helping others.
• Commitment to excellent service.
• Previous management experience preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite).
• Current CPR Certification preferred.
• High school diploma/GED equivalent required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed individual sales goals, contribute to club monthly and yearly goals.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, training and developing a high performing staff.
• Assist in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all members, prospective members and guests and ensuring staff follows superior customer service guidelines.
• Assist with Staff Management and provide backup support to Club Manager as needed.
• Involved in front desk activities: answer phones, check members in, sign-ups, tours.
• Facilitate all member requests, issues and questions.
• Assist in overseeing cleanliness and maintenance of facility.
• Assist in ordering supplies within budget.
• Assist in tracking statistics and reports (weekly, monthly, annually).
• Backup support for absent employees.
