Planet Fitness in Fall River, MA is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee gym operations and deliver a high-quality, Judgment Free member experience. The role is full-time (40 hours) with possible nights, weekends, and travel to support business needs.

You'll help recruit, train and supervise staff, ensure excellent customer service, and maintain a welcoming environment for members and guests. Responsibilities include front desk oversight, scheduling, daily reports, and facility upkeep.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Passion for helping others.
• Commitment to excellent service.
• Previous management experience is preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite).
• Current CPR Certification preferred.
• High school diploma/GED equivalent required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Confident problem-solver.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed individual sales goals, contribute to club monthly and yearly goals.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, training and developing a high performing staff.
• Assist in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all members and guests.
• Assist in staff management and backup support to Club Manager.
• Involved in front desk activities including answering phones and member check-in.
• Facilitate member requests, issues and questions.
• Assist in cleanliness and maintenance of facility.
• Assist in ordering supplies and tracking statistics.
