Planet Fitness Worcester, MA is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee gym operations and deliver a Judgement Free experience while keeping the club financially healthy.

Full-time role – 40 hours per week with potential nights, weekends and holidays. You will lead staff, hit sales goals, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests through hands-on coaching and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Passion for helping others.
• Commitment to excellent service.
• Previous management experience is preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite).
• High school diploma/GED equivalent required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Confident problem-solver.

Responsibilities

• Oversee gym operations to ensure a premier member experience and club financial health.
• Full-time: 40 hours per week; may include nights, weekends and holidays.
• Achieve or exceed individual sales goals and contribute to club targets.
• Recruit, hire, train and develop a high-performing staff.
• Maintain welcoming atmosphere and ensure superior customer service.
• Provide backup support to Club Manager and assist in staff management.
• Manage front desk activities: answer phones, member check-ins, tours.
• Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of the facility and equipment.
• Order supplies within budget and track weekly/monthly metrics.
• Support staff during absences and assist in daily club operations.
