Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a Member Services Representative to create a positive member experience with superior service. You will greet members, sign up new members, check people in, and lead tours for prospective members.

You’ll handle front desk activities, answer calls, and update member accounts while keeping the club clean and welcoming. Ideal candidates bring a customer service background, basic computer skills, and a passion for fitness.

Qualifications

• Customer service background preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency required.
• A passion for fitness and health.
• Upbeat and positive attitude with punctuality.
• Exceptional customer service skills; friendly and professional.
• Strong listener with empathy and problem solving.
• Diplomacy in all interactions and appropriate language.
• Must be 18 years of age or older; High School diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Greet members, prospective members and guests with excellent service.
• Answer phones and assist callers with questions.
• Check members into the system and sign up new members.
• Take prospective members on tours and provide information.
• Facilitate updates to member accounts as needed.
• Respond to questions or concerns promptly and escalate as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and neatness of the club.
