Job summary

RSG Group is seeking a Front Desk Team Member to warmly greet members and guests, handle check-ins, registrations, and inquiries while supporting daily gym operations in a professional, friendly environment.

You will process sales, assist with memberships, manage class registrations via the app, and maintain a polished front desk. A high school diploma and strong customer service are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills are required.
• Organized, structured, and friendly with a passion for fitness.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Understanding of basic cash processing procedures.
• Ability to proficiently use POS and CRM systems or other computer programs used to meet club needs.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Flexible schedule including holidays and weekends.
• Ability to bend, squat, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
• Comply with Gold's Gym policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet members, guests and staff to create a welcoming entrance and departure.
• Provide security and control at the front door and retail area.
• Check-in members using proper procedures.
• Register guests and direct them to the appropriate trainer or staff.
• Answer phone inquiries professionally and relay messages to management.
• Respond to member requests and concerns promptly.
• Maintain neat appearance and wear uniform with nametag.
• Handle retail and concession sales and maintain inventory.
• Assist with membership sales and sign-ups; assign barcodes and schedule PT sessions.
• Process member account changes and assist with class registrations via app.
• Attend staff meetings and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Support front desk operations and other duties as assigned by management.
