Job summary

Gold's Gym is seeking a Front Desk Team Member to warmly greet members, assist with check-ins, and direct guests and staff as they enter the club. You will handle member requests and support daily operations with a friendly, professional demeanor.

Responsibilities include processing retail sales, assisting with class registrations via the app, and coordinating with management on inquiries while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. A high school diploma and strong customer service are required.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Organized, structured, and friendly with a passion for fitness.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of basic cash handling procedures.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Flexible schedule including holidays and weekends.
• Ability to bend, squat, and lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Proficient in POS and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests warmly and direct them as they enter the gym.
• Check-in members using proper procedures and monitor check-ins for delinquent accounts.
• Assist guests with registration and guide to personal trainers or classes.
• Handle front desk inquiries by phone and messages for management.
• Process retail and concession sales; help maintain inventory and cooler stock.
• Attend staff meetings and maintain a neat front desk area.
• Log maintenance and safety concerns and report incidents to management.
• Support membership signups and scheduling complimentary personal training sessions.
