Gold's Gym is seeking a Front Desk Team Member to warmly greet members and guests, manage check-ins, handle inquiries, and support administrative tasks. The role includes assisting with memberships, directing guests to trainers, and processing sales at the front desk.

The position emphasizes delivering a welcoming guest experience, maintaining the front desk area, and coordinating with management on safety and incidents. Training will cover check-in procedures and app-based class registrations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests promptly to create a welcoming entrance.
• Manage front desk security and control at the door and retail area.
• Check members in using standard procedures.
• Monitor and report delinquent check-ins as directed by management.
• Register guests for gym access and sign-ins for appointments.
• Direct guests to the appropriate personal trainer when needed.
• Answer calls professionally and take messages for follow-up.
• Respond to member inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.
• Maintain a neat appearance and wear proper uniform with nametag.
• Distribute towels, keys, and other materials as required.
• Process retail and concession sales and help stock inventory.
• Attend staff meetings and keep front desk organized per standards.
• Log maintenance issues and report safety concerns to management.
• Adhere to attendance policies and complete other duties as assigned.
• Assist with membership sales and sign-ups, including kiosk or computer-based processes.
• Register new members, capture photos, and schedule introductory personal training sessions.
• Handle member account changes (payments, freezes, cancellations).
• Assist with receiving orders and checking in retail and concession products.
• Help members register for classes via the app.
