Job summary

Planet Fitness Franchising, LLC is seeking a full-time Front Desk Associate for a 2pm–10pm shift, with one weekend day. You will greet members, process sign-ups, check IDs, give club tours, answer phones, and help maintain a clean, welcoming environment.

You will deliver outstanding customer service, manage basic computer tasks, and support safety and operations. A positive attitude, reliability, and teamwork are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Customer service background preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency required.

• Punctuality and reliability is a must.
• Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact in a positive and professional way with members and co-workers, exceeding the member’s expectations.
• Strong listener with the ability to empathize and problem solve.
• Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language.
• High School diploma/GED equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Greet members, prospective members and guests by providing exceptional customer service.
• Handle all front desk related activities including answering phones and assisting callers with questions.
• Check ID and Member barcodes into the system; sign up new members.
• Take prospective members on a tour of the club.
• Facilitate updates to member accounts.
• Respond to member questions and concerns promptly and escalate as needed.
• Maintain neatness and cleanliness of the club.
• Monitor safety and cleanliness of the club environment.
• Thoroughly clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, fitness equipment and gym floor.
• Stock locker rooms with supplies and paper products.
• Report broken or missing amenities or equipment to the Club Manager.
• Follow Lost and Found policy and return lost property.
