Job summary

Gold's Gym is seeking a Front Desk Team Member in Houston to warmly greet members and guests, process check-ins, and support front desk operations. You will assist members with inquiries, registrations, and class sign-ups, while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere and efficient service.

Role requires excellent customer service, strong communication, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced fitness environment. Flexible schedule including holidays and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills are required.
• Organized, structured, and friendly coupled with a passion for fitness.
• Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Understanding of basic cash processing procedures.
• Ability to proficiently use POS and CRM systems or any other computer programs required to meet the business needs of the club.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Must be able to work a flexible work schedule to include holidays and weekends.
• Must be able to bend, squat, and lift upwards of 50lbs repeated and stand for extended periods of time.
• Comply with all Gold's Gym policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet members, guests, and staff and direct them as they enter the gym.
• Check members in using proper procedures.
• Monitor front desk and retail area access and security.
• Assist with member requests and inquiries about gym operations.
• Support account actions like payments, freezes, and sign-ups.
• Assist with classes registrations and trainer scheduling via app.
• Handle phone inquiries and messages for management.
• Maintain clean, professional front desk appearance and equipment.
• Log maintenance concerns and safety issues for management.
