Muon Space, Inc. seeks an experienced GNC engineer to design and implement guidance, navigation, and control architectures in an embedded C++ environment. The role supports missions from an approved remote location and involves collaboration across aerospace disciplines.

You will analyze GNC performance, specify ADCS requirements, and contribute to flight operations and test planning. A PhD or MS in mechanical/aerospace engineering (or equivalent) with 2–3 years of experience, or several years

Qualifications

• PhD or MS in mechanical or aerospace engineering, or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of professional GNC experience, or several years hands-on GNC work.
• Experience with ADCS and precision pointing platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement guidance, navigation & control architectures and algorithms in an embedded C++ environment.
• Define requirements for ADCS algorithms, hardware, and related systems for current missions and roadmaps.
• Perform analysis and simulation of mission-specific GNC performance.
• Collaborate on an offline geolocation processing pipeline.
• Support software- and hardware-in-the-loop test planning, execution, and validation.
