Muon Space, Inc. is seeking a GNC engineer to design guidance, navigation, and control architectures in an embedded C++ environment.

The role covers requirements definition for ADCS, hardware, and related systems for current missions and future roadmaps. The candidate will analyze and simulate mission-specific GNC performance, collaborate on an offline geolocation processing pipeline, and support software- and hardware-in-the-loop testing.

Qualifications

• PhD or MS in mechanical or aerospace engineering or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of professional experience in GNC analysis and design or extensive hands-on GNC work.
• Experience with ADCS for precision pointing platforms and spacecraft flight operations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement guidance, navigation & control architectures in an embedded C++ environment.
• Define requirements for ADCS algorithms, hardware, and related systems for current missions and roadmap development.
• Perform analysis and simulation of mission-specific GNC performance.
• Collaborate on an offline geolocation processing pipeline.
• Support software- and hardware-in-the-loop test planning, execution, and validation.
