Muon Space, Inc. seeks a capable GNC engineer to design and implement guidance, navigation & control architectures in an embedded C++ environment.

The role demands deep analysis and robust real-time algorithms for ADCS across missions, with emphasis on precision pointing platforms and spacecraft operations. You will collaborate on offline geolocation processing, test planning, and validation, with a strong preference for candidates holding a PhD or MSc in mechanical or aerospace engineering and

Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or equivalent.
• 2–3+ years of professional experience in GNC analysis and design or extensive hands-on work.
• Strong C++ software skills and experience with numerical environments (Python/Julia/MATLAB).
• Experience with ADCS of precision pointing platforms and spacecraft flight operations.
• US government security clearance or eligibility to obtain one.

Responsabilités

• Design and implement guidance, navigation & control architectures and algorithms in embedded C++.
• Define requirements for ADCS algorithms, hardware, and related systems for current missions and roadmap.
• Analyze and simulate mission-specific GNC performance.
• Collaborate on an offline geolocation processing pipeline.
• Support software- and hardware-in-the-loop test planning, execution and validation.
