Job summary

Extended Stay America is seeking a Guest Services Representative to assist guests, answer phones, check guests in and out, and collect payments per company guidelines. You will also complete front desk daily paperwork and uphold safety procedures for staff and guests.

Responsibilities include resolving guest requests, processing reservations, maintaining cash and accounts, and supporting breakfast service while delivering ESA's service culture with respect and care.

Qualifications

• Understand and communicate in English proficiently to interact with guests, associates and outside vendors.
• Proficient operation of the property management system technology. Requires the ability to work through all shift reports and perform the audit function when necessary and assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests, answer phones, check guests in and out, and collect payment in accordance with company guidelines and procedures.
• Complete front office daily paperwork and ensure safety and security procedures are followed for all associates and guests.
• Resolve guest requests with diligent follow-through and use the Make it Right process when needed.
• Process reservations, registrations, payments, and departures per guidelines.
• Maintain accurate cash, credit card and city ledger accounts for the property.
• Set up, maintain, and take down breakfast displays as required.
• Keep the front desk, lobby and guest areas organized and clean according to standards.
• Promote ESA to inquiries and convert to reservations and occupied rooms.
• Collect guest information, identify sales opportunities, and tour the property as needed.
• Adhere to all company policies including key control and safety reporting.
