Job summary

Raines Co. is seeking a Front Desk Agent to warmly greet guests, handle inquiries, check-in/out, and reserve rooms in a fast-paced hotel environment. The role emphasizes outstanding service, accuracy in billing, and cross-department collaboration to ensure guest satisfaction.

Candidates should have customer service experience, ideally in hospitality, and be proficient with Microsoft 365. A high school diploma or GED is required, with opportunities for growth within a family-oriented company

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, forward-facing, or other guest-related positions.
• Experience in the hospitality industry, hotels, restaurants or similar in various roles preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 or similar computer applications.
• Minimum High school diploma, GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Ensures Outstanding customer service at all times
• Maintains a friendly, professional, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times
• Accurately answers inquiries from potential guests and accepts hotel reservations
• Resolves guest problems and complaints efficiently with urgency
• Responds to inquiries regarding reservations, hotel information and guest concerns promptly
• Uses suggestive selling techniques to sell room nights, increase occupancy and revenue
• Allocates rooms and coordinates with housekeeping and maintenance
• Handles group arrivals and pre-registers each guest
• Ensures payments are collected and billing is correct
• Completes cash transactions and maintains bank
• Ensures Front desk log is updated
• Ensures safety by following check-in and security procedures
• Attends meetings as required
