Job summary

Hyatt Place Austin/Arboretum is seeking a proactive front desk professional to deliver exceptional guest service and oversee the front office team. The role requires multitasking in a busy hotel environment and following cash handling procedures.

You will contribute to guest satisfaction and support daily operations across the front desk, breakfast, and F&B areas. Candidate should have hospitality experience, strong communication, and a positive, energetic attitude.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide highest quality guest service and anticipate expectations.
• Oversee front office team including customer service reps, Night Audit, Breakfast and F&B.
• Follow cash handling and accounting procedures including hotel credit and check cashing procedures.
• Develop knowledge of hotel staff, services, hours, rates, amenities, and surroundings.
• Handle administrative duties: scheduling, ordering, training, coaching and hiring.
• Ensure security and confidentiality of guest and hotel information.
• Respond to and resolve guest concerns or complaints.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
