Job summary

Intown Suites in Chester, VA is seeking a Guest Services Representative to assist guests at the front desk with check-in/check-out, reservations, and guest inquiries. The role requires professional communication, strong customer service, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, handling cash and deposits, and collaborating with staff to ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license, current auto insurance, functioning automobile.
• Read, write and understand English for guest interactions and administrative duties.
• Strong mathematical skills to calculate room revenue, occupancy percentage and cash handling.
• General computer proficiency and ability to use a computer terminal and office equipment.
• Knowledge of Front Office operations and guest relations etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Take reservations accurately and courteously.
• Check guests in and out in a timely, professional manner.
• Represent the hotel professionally to guests and staff.
• Handle guest issues and escalate to GM as needed.
• Provide guidance to property staff and support front office operations.
• Ensure safety, security and cleanliness standards are followed and report issues to the GM.
