Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Biloxi is seeking a Guest Service Representative to join our hospitality team. You will welcome and register guests, handle reservations, and process payments using our property-management system.

You will promote hotel services, respond to guest needs, and collaborate across departments to ensure a seamless stay. The role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy on-site environment.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service or guest-relations experience preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Welcome, register, and check out guests while protecting confidential information.
• Manage reservations, room assignments, and guest loyalty-program participation.
• Answer calls and provide information about hotel services and area.
• Operate the property-management system to post charges, collect payments, and balance transactions.
• Verify payment methods and reconcile cash, checks, credit cards, and deposits.
• Promote hotel services, amenities, and future reservations.
• Identify sales opportunities and share leads with the team.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and document recovery efforts.
• Communicate requests and maintenance needs across departments.
• Maintain a clean lobby, front-desk area, and related spaces.
• Follow guest privacy, safety, and cash-handling procedures.
• Assist housekeeping, F&B, or other departments as needed.
