Job summary

Mohegan Sun is seeking a courteous and professional host to guide guests to tables and coordinate with the maître d’ for seating in a fast-paced environment. You will interact with guests, fellow team members, and supervisors to ensure gracious hospitality and a seamless front-of-house experience.

Responsibilities include taking reservations, assisting with guest inquiries, and maintaining a clean entrance area and organized menus.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality experience.
• Previous host experience.
• Experience in a high-volume restaurant/nightclub/lounge.

Responsibilities

• Guide guests to appropriate tables as directed by the maître d’ and interact with guests in a polite, hospitable manner.
• Attend pre-service meetings and participate in daily operations to ensure smooth front-area service.
• Take and process reservations and assist with guest questions and coat checks where applicable.
• Set up the front desk area, ensure menus are current and organized, and perform opening/closing side-work as directed by management.
• Report any equipment damage or breakage to management immediately.
