Harri in Hawthorne, NV is seeking a front desk agent to warmly welcome guests during check-in and check-out, provide information on hotel services, and assist with daily guest needs. You will balance revenue and expenses, maintain logs, and support maintenance and housekeeping as required.

The role requires clear communication, basic math, and the ability to handle transactions at the front desk. A high school diploma is required, and Spanish language ability is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• English reading/writing required; Spanish a plus.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide information to guests about hotel services and amenities.
• Respond to guest requests (e.g., ironing boards) and assist as needed.
• Coordinate with housekeepers on room status and availability.
• Coordinate with maintenance to address issues.
• Maintain daily logs and paperwork (e.g., bus tickets, schedules).
• Handle cash and balance drawer at end of shift.
• Process gift shop, cigarette, gift certificate, and medicine transactions.
