Job summary

Shasta Lake marina resort is seeking a Front Desk Clerk to manage motel and houseboat check-in and check-out, verify reservations, and handle guest inquiries at our lakeside lodge, restaurant, and fueling dock.

You will answer phones and emails, process deposits and contracts, and manage folio charges and cash handling, coordinating crew arrivals with the houseboat team. Must be 18+ and possess basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Process motel, houseboat/check-in and check-out.
• Confirm reservations and collect deposits.
• Answer phone, emails, and web inquiries promptly.
• Verify houseboat and small boat rates. Process contracts.
• Communicate crew arrival to houseboat customers.
• Explain folio charges based on ending balance.
• Cash/credit handling.
• Post charges to accounts from other departments.
• Post charges to accounts, check folios before posting to prevent duplicates.
• Check hard copies for extra charges (linen packs, late charges, damage charges, cleaning charges).
• Understand phone/marine radio operations.
• Perform clerical duties (filing, typing, calculation).
