Job summary

Ascent Hospitality is seeking a Front Desk Agent to deliver warm, proactive guest service at the hotel front desk. You will manage check-ins/outs, provide information on rooms and amenities, and upsell services to boost occupancy and revenue.

The role requires excellent communication, organizational skills, and a friendly, professional demeanor. Essential duties include handling payments, verifying IDs, balancing cash, and coordinating with housekeeping to ensure timely room readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel front desk or guest services preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must read/write/speak English and interact with guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly, sincere welcome and assist with check-in/check-out.
• Provide information about hotel, rooms, rates and amenities.
• Upsell services to maximize occupancy and revenue.
• Handle payments, verify IDs, process transactions and balance cash.
• Maintain professional appearance and adherence to brand standards.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure room readiness.
• Respond to guest complaints promptly and professionally.
