Job summary

The Madison Concourse Hotel in Madison, WI seeks a Front Desk Agent to warmly welcome guests, handle check-ins/check-outs, and provide information about local attractions. Previous hotel experience is preferred, but a strong customer service background will be considered.

Shifts vary from 7am–11pm with open availability and a competitive starting wage of $17/hour. Qualified applicants should enjoy working in a team, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to handle cash and guest

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or customer service preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and manage check-ins smoothly.
• Assist guests with check-outs and billing inquiries.
• Know hotel facilities and local attractions to assist guests.
• Manage reservations and assign rooms accurately and efficiently.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve concerns promptly.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to meet guest needs.
• Keep front desk area clean and organized at all times.
• Follow security and safety procedures for guests and staff.
• Upsell hotel amenities and packages to guests.
• Collaborate with team to deliver seamless guest experiences.
