Job summary

Navy Exchange Service Command in Patuxent River, MD, seeks a Guest Service Representative I (Flex) to greet guests, answer questions about lodging, amenities, and local attractions, and assist with check-in, reservations, and payments.

You will use the Property Management System to manage reservations, issue keys, process payments, and coordinate with Front Office staff; shifts include weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• One year of general office clerical experience.
• One year progressively responsible experience related to the position.

Responsibilities

• Answer guest questions concerning lodging facilities, amenities and local attractions.
• Assist guests with room reservations, payments, and check-in/check-out processes.
• Greet guests and maintain outstanding guest relations.
• Use the Property Management System (PMS) to access guest information and modify reservations.
• Handle multi-line telephone system and relay messages.
• Log and resolve guest issues and complaints with supervisor guidance.
• Assist in training Front Desk staff.
• Ensure daily tasks such as wake-up calls and reports are completed.
