Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health in New Jersey is seeking an Information & Guest Services Representative to welcome guests, manage visitor passes, provide directions, and answer questions about services and policies while maintaining a professional lobby environment. The role requires friendly, courteous conduct, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle stressful situations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Typing ability required.
• One to two years working experience required.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes all guests to the Medical Center by proactively greeting them in a courteous fashion.
• Answers telephone within 3 rings using established greeting and provides proper assistance.
• Distributes visitor passes in accordance with policy and escorts to appropriate areas when needed.
• Provides directions and wayfinding to services and departments.
• Enforces visiting and access policies and notifies Security of violations.
• Maintains lobby area cleanliness and professional appearance.
• Coordinates with departments and Vendors; serves as a point of contact for guest inquiries.
