Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, NV seeks a friendly Bell Desk team member to assist guests with luggage, greet guests promptly, and manage luggage storage and delivery with care.

You will verify tickets, assist with packages and scooter/wheelchair rentals, and cover VIP runs as needed. The role requires good communication, reliability, and the ability to work varied shifts including holidays and nights.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate storage and delivery services to guests.
• Ability of simple reading, writing, math, and task completion skills is required.
• Must have clerical, coordination, instructing, driving, following instructions, problem solving, independent judgment, and decision making.

Responsabilités

• Assist guests with opening/closing vehicle doors.
• Acknowledge and greet guests within 15 seconds and provide professional, fast and friendly service.
• Tag guest luggage with number of bags and last name, and store luggage safely.
• Transport luggage from room to lobby and ensure all luggage is accounted for.
• Deliver luggage to rooms and explain facilities in the room.
• Verify guests’ tickets with luggage before handing over bags.
• Deliver packages for guests from FedEx after hours on occasion.
• Rent Scooters and Wheelchairs for third party vendor on occasion.
• Cover VIP runs and lunch breaks for shuttle drivers on rotation.
• Provide guests with information regarding property facilities, amenities, services, events.
• Follow up with guests to ensure requests are met to satisfaction.
• Document and report luggage incidents; report accidents and unsafe conditions to manager.
• Monitor safety, security, and cleanliness of luggage storage room and bell desk.
• Cover the Bell Desk in absence of Dispatcher per rotation.
• Any other duties as assigned.
