Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with cash handling and guest transactions.
• Ability to read and follow directions and recipes as dictated by management.
• Deal with guests and team members in a tactful and respectful manner.
• Simple reading, writing, math, and task completion skills are required.
• Must have the following skills: compiling, coordination, following instructions, memorization, problem solving, independent judgment, and decision making.
• Flexible working all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate.
• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and provide responsive, professional service.
• Communicate with management, chefs, and staff to fulfill guest needs.
• Process guest checks via cash, credit cards, room charges, or billing in the POS system.
• Record all financial data for accounting and control the issue and return of checks.
• Make deposits and balance bank cash; complete cashier reports.
• Keep work areas clean and organized; maintain sanitary stations.
• Assist kitchen in expediting service to maintain flow.
• Handle warehouse orders and deliveries as needed.
• Prepare food prep and items according to hotel recipes and specs.
• Rotate products and monitor quality and production flow.
• Support cooks and team members in food prep and presentation.
