Job summary

The University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics Authority is seeking a Guest Services Ambassador (Finance) to welcome patients and visitors and to help maintain smooth flow at UW Health entrances.

This 100% FTE role covers day and evening shifts, including a later evening period in the Emergency Department (From 5:00PM - 9:30PM), and offers benefits, tuition reimbursement, and flexibility to support patient experience.

Qualifications

• No minimum education required.
• Customer service experience, administrative support, retail, or related experience preferred.

• Engage with patients and visitors as they enter the hospital with energy and enthusiasm.
• Complete health screening questions with patients and visitors or direct them to area-specific health screening workflows.
• Ensure the smooth flow of patients and visitors at all designated entrances of UW Health locations navigating them throughout the facility.

Work Schedule

100% FTE, day/evening shift. Monday through Friday 12:30PM - 9:30PM. From 5:00PM - 9:30PM, you will work in the Emergency Department supporting patient and visitor flow. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.
