Job summary

Lowes Foods is seeking a Guest Service Manager to supervise the front porch team and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience. You will train cashiers, manage schedules with the Store Manager, and enforce guest service policies across all duties.

The role requires leadership, strong guest service skills, and the ability to handle cash, invoices, and daily operations. You will model professional behavior and oversee accuracy of tills and adherence to policies.

• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Guest Service Standards.
• Ensure front porch standards are met according to No Noticeable Wait policy.
• Schedule with Store Manager to provide desired service within labor guides.
• Train cashiers to call additional hosts as needed.
• Handle guest requests, refunds, loans, pickups, voids, and approvals promptly.
• Keep front porch clean, neat, and uncluttered; parking lot free of debris.
• Be a positive role model in speech, manner, dress, hygiene, and integrity.
• Block unused check lanes when not in use.
• Enforce front porch policies related to Asset Protection and Shrink Control.
• Provide training and direction to hosts not meeting standards.
• Communicate problem areas and performance issues to Guest Service Manager.
• Give ongoing feedback to hosts to maintain service levels.
• Prepare weekly cash reports and maintain sales information.
• Process invoices and transfers; process beer/wine payments.
• Handle payroll check approvals and daily cash counts.
• Assist customers with money orders, stamps, lottery, etc.
• Process returned checks according to policy.
• Ensure cash office security and inventory of supplies.
• Monitor and audit Operator Activity Reports and till accuracy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
