Lowes Foods is seeking a Guest Service Manager to supervise front porch hosts and cashier teams, ensuring fast, friendly checkout and adherence to policy. The role involves training, scheduling, and handling guest requests, refunds, and payments with a strong emphasis on guest experience and operational integrity.

The position requires leadership, teamwork, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced grocery environment, along with accurate cash handling and reporting

Responsibilities

• Maintain Guest Service Standards.
• Ensure front porch standards per No Noticeable Wait policy.
• Coordinate scheduling with Store Manager to meet service levels.
• Train cashiers to call additional hosts as needed.
• Handle guest requests, refunds, loans, and approvals promptly.
• Keep front porch clean and parking lot free of debris.
• Model professional conduct in speech, dress, hygiene, and integrity.
• Block unused check lanes when not in use.
• Enforce front porch policies related to Asset Protection and Shrink Control.
• Provide training and feedback to front porch hosts.
• Report problem areas to Guest Service Manager.
• Prepare weekly cash report and maintain sales information.
• Process invoices and beer/wine payments.
• Prepare bank deposits and payroll approvals per policy.
• Ensure accurate daily cash counts.
• Handle money orders, stamps, lottery tickets, etc.
• Maintain cash office security and tills accountability.
• Perform audits and accuracy checks on tills.
• Complete any other duties assigned by management.
