NGIS Norfolk NS seeks a Front Desk Agent to serve as the first point of contact for guests at Navy Gateway Inn and Suites or Navy Lodge properties. You will handle reservations, check-in/out, payments, and guest inquiries while ensuring safety and privacy of guests.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, managing the PMS, and maintaining a welcoming lobby environment. Flexibility to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays, is required.

Qualifikationen

• GENERAL EXPERIENCE: One 1 year of general office clerical experience that demonstrated the ability to perform clerical duties satisfactorily.
• AND SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: One 1 year progressively responsible experience related to the position to be filled.
• OR SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE: College study above high school level may substitute for experience.

Aufgaben

• Demonstrate welcoming manner and positive attitude; interact with guests and answer questions about lodging and local attractions.
• Assist guests with reservations, payments, check-in/out, room assignments, and credit card processing.
• Greet guests on arrival and maintain outstanding guest relations.
• Use PMS to access guest information, manage reservations, and secure registrations.
• Ensure front desk area is clean, secure, and organized; manage keys and incidentals.
