Job summary

Navy Exchange Service Command seeks a Guest Service Representative I for a 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm shift at the Norfolk NGIS property. You will serve as the first point of contact for guests, handling front desk operations, reservations, payments, and guest requests while ensuring privacy and safety.

The role requires a welcoming attitude, clear communication, and the ability to resolve issues in a courteous manner, supporting daily lobby operations and guest services.

Qualifications

• General experience: One 1 year of general office clerical experience that demonstrated the ability to perform clerical duties satisfactorily.
• Specialized experience: One 1 year progressively responsible experience related to the position to be filled.
• Substitution of education for experience: College/university study above high school level may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with requests in person or by phone, including reservations, payments, and check-in/check-out.
• Greet and welcome guests, maintain outstanding guest relations.
• Use PMS to access guest information, retrieve reservations, and adjust bookings as requested.
