Job summary

Cumberland Farms is seeking a Guest Service Leader to support store operations, coach team members, and deliver outstanding guest experiences. This leadership role involves greeting guests, ensuring smooth transactions, and maintaining a clean, stocked store environment.

Responsibilities include supervising shift operations in the Store Manager's absence, training staff, assisting with food safety, and upholding company values.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 6 months as a Guest Service Associate
• Preferred: 6–12 months retail, guest service or restaurant
• ServSafe/Food Safety certification is a plus but not mandatory

Responsibilities

• Greet all guests in a friendly manner to make them feel welcomed and appreciated and invite them to return.
• Process guest transactions efficiently to minimize wait time.
• Maintain store appearance and cleanliness, including coffee station, food service area and restrooms.
• Monitor and replenish products on the sales floor to ensure in-stock levels.
• In Store Manager's absence, complete reports, product ordering and banking as needed.
• Lead by example in company values and guest service behaviors.
• Provide training and coaching to team members when acting as store lead.
• Assist with food preparation and safety in food service stores.
• Prioritize safety for guests and team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager or in SM's absence.
