Job summary

Shamin Hotels is seeking a Guest Service Agent to warmly welcome guests, check them in and out, and handle reservations with accuracy. You will assist guests with directions, local recommendations, and hotel services, while maintaining records and processing charges efficiently.

You will join a team-focused Operations department, work with multiple hotel systems, and uphold credit policies. A high school diploma or GED and strong guest-service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Front desk experience preferred.
• Ability to register and check guests in/out efficiently.
• Strong communication and guest-service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Greets, registers, and assigns rooms to guests.
• Issues room keys and provides directions as needed.
• Transmits and receives messages via phone, fax, and switchboard.
• Answers inquiries about hotel services, dining, and activities.
• Keeps records of room availability and guest accounts.
• Collects payment for room charges and other fees.
• May assist with reservations and special requests.
• Reports to work on time in uniform and follows company policies.
