Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a dedicated food and beverage server to provide attentive service to guests in a hotel restaurant. You will greet guests, take orders, input them into POS, and deliver meals and drinks in a timely, courteous manner while observing all safety and liquor regulations.

Responsibilities include upselling desserts and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, restocking supplies, and collaborating with team members to ensure guest satisfaction across shifts.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of all State, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Hold a current Food Handler Card or in the process of being certified
• Hold a valid TABC license
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner and explain specials or promotions.
• Input orders into POS and ensure accuracy before serving.
• Deliver orders with beverages and condiments promptly, checking guest satisfaction.
• Adhere to liquor regulations and verify IDs when serving alcohol as required.
• Replenish beverages and upsell desserts and specialty coffees as requested.
• Assist with bussing, side work, and maintaining a clean dining area.
