Job summary

Encore in a hotel/convention center environment seeks a Technician to set up, operate, and break down basic audiovisual systems for events. You will work on site with guests, ensuring equipment performs correctly while delivering superior customer service and maintaining strong client relationships.

The role requires at least a high school diploma, 1 year of hospitality/AV experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. A valid driver’s license is also required to support site operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.
• Additional DOT requirements may apply if applicable.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, operates, and breaks down basic audiovisual equipment to ensure flawless events.
• Exceeds expectations of internal and external customers through proactive service.
• Troubleshoots equipment and software issues in a timely, professional manner.
• Follows company processes, completes paperwork, and communicates with clients on site.
• Works with clients to finalize invoices and interacts with vendors as needed.
• Maintains safety and compliance in all event operations.
