Job summary

Encore in a hotel/convention center environment is seeking a Technician to set up, operate, and break down basic audiovisual systems for events. You will ensure guest satisfaction, handle on-site needs, and coordinate with staff and vendors for timely equipment and invoicing.

The role requires at least a high school diploma and prefer 1 year of customer service or AV experience. Lifting up to 50 lbs and a valid driver’s license may be required; hours are irregular and on-call as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license may be required for vehicle operation.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and break down basic audiovisual equipment for events.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and maintain positive client relationships on site.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues promptly.
• Complete system entries and paperwork accurately.
