Job summary

Encore in San Francisco seeks a Technician to set up and operate small-scale audiovisual systems in a hospitality setting, ensuring guest satisfaction and smooth event execution. You will work under the Operations leadership, coordinate with hotel staff and vendors, and handle basic equipment, troubleshooting, and invoicing tasks as part of the event lifecycle.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.
• Additional DOT requirements may need to be met if applicable.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Setup, operation, and breakdown of basic audiovisual equipment.
• Exceed client expectations and maintain positive relationships with clients.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment or software issues in a timely manner.
• Complete systems entry and paperwork accurately; interact with staff and vendors for equipment.
• Work with clients to finalize invoices and use Navigator for order entries as needed.
