Job summary

Encore is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality setting in San Francisco. You will ensure guest satisfaction and work under the supervision of the Events Technology leadership.

The role requires hands-on AV setup, customer service mindset, and the ability to troubleshoot equipment on site; experience in events or hospitality is preferred. Hourly pay ranges from $22.00 to $24.00, with benefits as outlined by Encore.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, operates, and breaks down basic AV equipment as listed in the qualifications.
• Exceeds expectations and needs of internal and external customers.
• Meets with guests on site to ensure equipment works properly and needs are met.
• Troubleshoots equipment and software issues and handles changes promptly.
• Works with staff and vendors for equipment and paperwork as needed.
